The Village With The Smartest Inhabitants

Picture South Zeal, a pretty little village nestling beneath the heights of northern Dartmoor, a thriving village since Middle Ages, with a wide street once on coaching route to Exeter. Charles Dickens wrote Pickwick Papers there whilst snowbound. It is a long book so he obviously was not as clued up as the current inhabitants. Driving through there the other evening I counted five 4.2s parked up and two 4.3s, both with spare wheels. Obviously a small but discerning community of very intelligent folk. I expect one of them will write to the Times in a day or so to announce that they heard the first cuckoo of summer whilst sitting in their very quiet and smooth 4x4.

from a worryingly sunny Dartmoor. We will pay for this.........

I notice that you avoided mentioning how many doors they had,was that just so a certain Scots gentleman didn't choke on his amber sustenance
