Respray Original Wheels Black

hey there all i have 2003 yaris t sport thunder grey colour, the paint on my original wheels has started to fade and i am thinking about spraying them black, would this look stupid, or has anyone else sprayed there's black any advice much appreciated

Hi mate,

black or dark grey seems to be very popular these days and should look good with a grey car. It is very difficult to do a proper job with the tyres still on the rims, have you considered having them powder coated as this looks a top job when done.

i have thought about it, but seems to cost a fair bit, I resprayed these wheels myself about 2 years ago and they came out great , so am looking to do myself and as i work 6 days a weeks, this causes a bit of a problem as most places need the wheels for at least 48 hours, but i agree dark grey like gun metal looks nice when done well

hey there i have though about it but most places charge a fair bit, and require the wheels for at least 48 hours as i work 6 days a weeks this makes it a big problem i sprayed the wheels myself about 3 years ago came out great so i am thinking about doing it myself again, i agree dark grey looks nice gun metal colour
