Engine Tapping When Cold

Hi Guys Have a 56 plate XT5 with 45,000 on clock and when moving away when cold I get a tapping/knocking in the engine - this goes away once the car is warm or above a certain speed. It also seems to miss or loose power for a fraction of a second. It sounds like an injector is giving too much fuel but the Toyota dealer cannot find anything and the extende warranty is about to end. Anyone else had this problem.

HI it could be piston slap,not much to worry about.just take it easy on revs till engine warms up a bit.

would not expect engine to miss though.
