Clutch Problem

hi i have a t4 d4d 53 reg.my clutch peddle is getting stuck coming back up and then it pops up fully.there is no smell of burn so i hope it does not need replacing.has it happened to anyone?

There are some modified parts for the clutch, such as master cylinder, I think there were somes issues with the clutch fork too IIRC

If it has been sticking for a while then you may have worn the clutch out too, worth taking the cars details to Mr T to see what parts were modified and to see if there is any extended warranty on anything

i have the same problem with my peddle it just seems to stick at the very last i put a new clutch and flywheel into my 04 avensis about 30,000 miles ago was wondering did you replace yours latley. did you get a mechanic to check it out yet and if so what is the story wiht it

hi

i have a mechanic having a look at it tomorrow so ill post the problem.i was told the possible causes are the forks,the hydraulic fluid needs to be bled or the clutch is gone.

my clutch pedal hit the floor about 2 hours ago in the same boat will have to try get a mechanic to look at mine in the morning

hi tim just to let you know the master cylinder was gone in my car.im getting a price tomorrow but i hear there now cheap so hopefully you dont need one!

i got the master cylnder sorted out in mine all sorted for 200 euro how did you fair out in the end

i had the same prob changed the clutch from floating to solid fly wheel no joy changed master cylinder no fix it was a bent rod on top of the clutch pedal hope this helps
