Brakes Gt4 St205

Hi ive recently put new shoes on my gt4 st205 (correctly) and cant seem to get the discs back on over the new shoes.I adjusted the shoes as close in as it can go. Does any one know is there shoes for drivers and passangers side maybe slightly different? maybe if i slacken handbrake cable inside of car! any decent suggestions would be muchly appreciated thanks kev.

slacken off the cable will give you some leverage . also grinding off the inner lip on the top hat ( disc// drum ) will help .

ive already grinded inside disc m8 however i will slacken of the handbrake cable to see if that helps me thanks.
