wow 160bhp in a yaris. fannytastic.

all i wanna know is, that civic type r you gonna race or have is it mod'd? cos if standard i'd place bets on you. I'd win against a standard civ type r but i'm of mind that a 160bhp depending on torque yaris would give me a run for my money, in the dry anway.

i havnt had a rolling road test with it yet as i only got boost on saturday. it was just a civic Vti with a de-cat exhasut system, he beat me. i had traction problems althoug i though my LSD would have helped :( it might supprise you to know i have NO ECU mods on the car and it runs rich above 4ooo rpm.

saying that it under fuels up to 4k but i have a 5th injector installed just not wired up yet. but it pulls nice and hard in 1st and 2nd

well traction is the main thing, allowing less powerful cars to beat/keep up with the big boys.

just look at scoobs v's m3's.

but as you're not running right either, not really a fair comparission. I lok forward to when do. Boost on sat? turbo or s/c???

LSD, how/where di you get this fitted? i'm most interested in this as i think its a must for all the heavily mod'd yaris'sesessseses, yaris whatever.

its a S/C it goes up to 0.6 BAR on the boost guage! its a TRD LSD i got it from fensport. you can also get a Cusso if thats how you spell it LSD. i think the gear ratio must be to low, but i had semi slicks on but it was wet surface

how light did you go with the fly? we only had 1kg taken off.

that LSD sounds most interesting. semi slicks in wet, wonder u went anywhere :o

2700 if you wanted ecu? surely you would???

its a blitz charger yes. i got it from over here where i live (N.ireland) from place called cartoyz but you can get them from TDi or fensport. my flywheel weighs 3.7 kg is a TOM's flywheel

i think i hae found an engine already. i asked if they had any 1.5 L yaris for breaking they said yes, but i know they are quite rare over in ireland so i think they might have a 1.3 and just told me what i wanted to hear. i will find out today. £350 for the engine by way with very few miles on it <_< sceptical.

the ECU wouldnt have worked with the UK yaris. we put a 5th injector in to her instead.

5th injector, most interesting.

not sure if this is a good idea or better to wait for when biiger injectors become available???

3.7kg, wow. good for flat straight lines, but whats hills like with that? and idling???

i think the std injectors are more than enough, we have increased fuel pressure. idle is ok but engine takes a few seconds to start cus of fuel pressure. cheers nezerr

i have a dyno print out be warned i dont think its very accurate and the remember i have no ECU mods so the power curve is anything but smooth. im actually quite :censor: off at the dyno readings

must admit, i can't make much sense of that, can u explain the figures on the top piccy? they look like standard to me ???

and i was never much good at reading graphs. Someone on here said yo can now get chips, piggy back seemmingly for the ecu. maybe something to look into and find out more about.

run one is at the wheels, run 2 is at flywheel. the power is not given in HP but kilowatts and PS im not sure on the conversion . i kid you not, those figers are not from a standard car it was my supercharged t-sport !

so run two is 78kw at the fly.

errr, not on a supercharge tsport, can't be.

bhp-scan2.jpg

on my mrs tsport with HKS induction kit and HKS backbox. not idea what the torque is though. She was 87kw a the fly equating to 119bhp

he graph i cant work out, cos i get confused, i just rpefer to look at figures
