Howdy, my dad has a Rav 4 SR180. Can anyone confirm what is normally required for the second service. I will obviously change the oil filter and engine oil.

If he wants to keep his warranty, he shud be taking it to Toyota.

Toyota will uphold the warranty book as long as it serviced in accordance with the schedule.

Second service is basically transfer box and rear diff oil. The prop shaft bolts need to be checked and then its all the bits you get charged extra for;

Brake fluid

Cabin filter

Air filter if dirty

Brake pad thickness

........just about everything else is "inspect" but you can find full details in the service book.
