Celica St185 Advice For Turbo Plz

hello people in need of some advice..while i was driving my celica gt4 today i heard a loud chirp seemed like a pipe blew off then noticed the standard boost gauge at 0 vaccum the car seemed like it lost power and wasnt boosting as it should..i then drove to my mechanic and had a look at the intake side of the turbo shaft and noticed some play then normal..we then left the car to run and reved to find that there was no flow through the the charge cooler sytem and then told me the exaust side shaft has gone gone..im in need of a turbo upgrade and some good advice i know a little but not enough do you think a rebuild would be a good idea??and how much would it cost?ive heard you could fit the ct20b turbo on the st185 do you have to modify anything?my car is the st185 gt4rc japenese carlos sainz version if theres anyone with some information let me know thanks...

hi, am new here, check all the pipes of the intercooler, and turbo, take the pipe off the turbo and check if there is any play in shaft.

I have a T3/T4 hybrid turbo if you interested its brand new

hey thanks for the reply theres definetly play in the shaft looks like my turbos gone all hoses seem fine..im after a ct26 hybrid or a good ct20b possibly rebuilt or a good one with low miles but thanks anyway...
