Rav4 Side Steps/bars

Just bought my first rav4 march 2005 model 5 door and i love it. I would like to fit some side steps/ bars but i want t0o make sure all the pre drilled holes are there first before i buy them. I can find 2 holes on each under side with grometts fitted but thought there would have to be 3. can u help please

There should be three mounting holes each side - see attached PDF

Hi Geordie and muchos welcomos to the house of fun....which one can't you find? There's a front, a middle, and a rear one, which is quite close to a rear suspension arm thingy, which makes it a bit more difficult to see and get a spanner on.

Covered/bunged up with underbody protection coating/gunge or mud maybe

Sorry for being a pain but i just cant locate the whole on the underside towards the rear. the front and middle have a gromit over the hole. there are 3 holes on the underside behind cill with gromits on but there is no place for a hole on the underside of the floor at the rear if that makes sense. rav4 xt3 5 door march 2005

They're the ones I think you need - do they match the spacing of the holes in the suspension profiles? There should be M8 threaded holes/captive nuts, if you pull out the rubber plugs/grommets, to take the longer bolts [numbered 19 in the PDF illustrations]
