Air Conditioning

Seems to be not working at all, or not very well.

Self diagnostic (pressing the 2 right hand buttons whilst switching on ignition) shows 2 flashing '00' (Zeros). Have replaced the pollen filter under the glove box. Air con has been switched on continuously over winter period. Any ideas?? Fuse, dodgy connection someplace, relays need a wiggle to reseat them ??

Any ideas would be great.

Thanks.

does your engine speed up when the a/c is activated

the compressor will only work with the system full of gas

so im lead to believe

my 06 was completly empty last year so much so the refiller thought that because the system was completly empty there was a leak

anyway he recharged the a/c and away it went and its still ok now

so maybe yours is the same...

so go for a regas and all may be ok

Best I give that a try then :-) Thanks

before re-gasing -- have all the system pressure/vacuum tested to prevent/find leaks, if any and not to spend money for nothing. Re-gasing is your next step. Cheers/igor
