Belly Pan

Hi all

Just a quick question. I've noticed my 2nd Gen Prius doesn't have an under body cover below the engine commonly known as a belly pan.

It's in for it's 40k service on Tuesday so thought I'd check first. Is it supposed to have one?

Lol, can't remember whether my gen2 had one or not. I'd be surprised if it didnt...

I have had them on all my Toyotas over the years, parked in a field at my Son's wedding in an Avensis some 11 years ago, when the car went in for it's next service, the report stated that the sump protector was missing... My Son's father in law, when asked, said oh yes, we wondered where that had come from! - they had found it in the field after we had all gone home!!!

I think there's a small one at the front, attached to the back of the bumper, but there is nothing beneath the main part of the engine. That's what it looks like under mine anyway.

Thanks for that Burma Sauce.

That's what mine looks like. They must require some air up there as it seemed odd on a low drag car.
