Looking for a really good, simple but effective, dipped beam headlamp upgrade for my 06 Avensis T180. Dont really want to go down the HID route but looking for a much better bulb to improver driving on DIPPED beam.

Thinking of getting these:- H1 Philips X-treme Vision

Anyone got them or can suggest a better solution ?

If you dont mind yellowish light than get Osram Night breaker plus, they are good.

But if you like to have pure white light without compromising on light then get Philips Cryteal Vision. They are better than Xtreme vision.

And lastly and best is to get HIDS.

My understanding is that Crystal Vision are whiter but X-treme Power deliver more light.

2006 - original T25 or facelift?

I'm running X-treme Power main beam & Nightbreakers for dipped ( at the time that I changed Philips didn't make X-treme Vision bulbs to fit my dipped) in my T25 facelift.
