Removing Throttle Body

Can anyone shed some light on how to remove the throttle body on a 2.0 VVTi petrol engine?

I've removed the air intake etc and the four long bolts holding it on, but it still appears to be attached somehow.

Must confess not removed many new carbs, but have done many old ones in the past, depending on how long they have been in situ they can stick to the inlet manafold and a slight tap to the body with a rubber hammer can dislodge it.

I was going to do that, but wanted to check in case there was a hidden bolt I'd missed. Don't want to risk damaging the plastic manifold.

Hi mate,

all should be revealed in a picture of the throttle body (attached) it shows just 4 bolts as you say. I tried to attach a full .pdf of the complete fuel system but as it was just over 2 meg the forum would not permit that file size, I could email it to you later if you PM me.

Regards Pete.
