Openning Bonnet?

how do i open the bonnet on my 1991 celica without the bonnet pull? car wont start and cant even open the bonnet due to a strectched cable... drving me mad

remove the undertrays and reach up in front of the rad, or make up a hook from a coat hanger or the like.

If the wire is only stretched then you can uncouple it from the rearside of the catch in the car and then pull the wire to emulate opening the bonnet in the normal fashion.

Unless the bonnet latch release mechanism is seized. . . .
