Hi guys

So I bought the 2008 d4d tr model. Its got 91k on the clock FTSH, sat nav and is still under warranty. Mot due aug, what I wanted to know was is this model chain or cambelt. Also when I bought the car I drove 194miles for it, filled tank up with the £1.49 diesel the v power or something like that, drove back 194 miles and the fuel needle showed 3 quater tank. The fuel economy in 6th gear is fantastic.

Also I was thinking on getting a extended warranty coz my car has FTSH and is less than 3 years old and has 91k on clock, I am dreading forking out for injectors, egr valves, headgaskets etc etc. Coz after reading alot of posts on here and hearing about the problems some have faced with the avensis I think an extended warranty would be a good idea, what do you guys think and please this is my first toyota sooo any advice as to what measures I could take so i could avoid some of the problems some of the owners on here have had.

BTW she is a beauty all motorway miles.

Thanks guys

Welcome to Toyota owners club and congrats on buying lovely car.

Your car is chain drived so you shouldnt be worried about that.

Having extended warranty is good idea...shop around.

Enjoy the ride.
