Retrofit Sunroof Advice

Hi all.... was thinking of buying 2008 Avensis strata which has a retrofit sunroof...I like the idea of having a sunroof

but i know they dont come as standard..was wondering what members think of pros and cons of having retrofit one...

would appreciate any advice please

These were common a number of years back and I have not seen a retro fit sunroof for a while. They are only as good as the fitter so shop around.

Another thing to consider is that they can leak

A retrofit will most likely be a tilt sunroof, rather than a proper slide/tilt that you'd get OEM. They always leak though, and look a bit naff.
