Iq Cd Player

When I try to load a CD into the player, the motor does not run and/or draw the disc into the player. "CDIN" is shown on the dashboard menu, but I have never put a cd into it! I can only think that maybe the CD motor has burnt out or that there is a fuse blown somewhere.

Any ideas please :)

Hve you tried ejecting just in case there is a CD in there? I know you say you have never put a CD in but weirder things have happened! If you have tried ejecting, then just take it to Toyota

This was the first thing I tried.

The carrier tray does accept the new CD but does not drive to load into player.Any other ideas people, I'm keen to try and fix this myself ?
