Smelly Air Con

In the recent hot spell, I finally got round to running the air con on my 07 Verso D4D which I only got in December. It gave off a musty smell. In previous cars I've had with air con this is usually a sign that the drain tube from the condenser is blocked. Given that I've not seen any water underneath the Verso when the air con has been running, this seems the likely cause. I had it up on ramps today but could not find anything that looked like a drain tube. So does anyone know where the drain is and whether it is easy to clear?

hi mate

the pipe in question is of arround 10-12 mm dia and easy to find it under the evaporator area. Have a look and try to clean it . Besides -- a simple measure to vent (air)evaporator (when compressor is OFF)is required to dry water out from evaporator ribs. Cheers/Igor
