Hey guys; thought it was about time that I put the puddle jumper up here :)

First of all... I bought the car new in September 2006 and have been the only owner and have managed to clock up nearly 65,000 miles.

The car was bog standard when i got it; 14" steel wheels, wee skinny tyres (which may I add where absolutely poor wet weather).

You wouldn't believe that the boot was big enough to fit someone in it.... until at the First Ever Members Meet of Ayrshire Underground I couldn't resist but lock one of the boys in and drive him about.... wedged to the window.

I kept the car the same way up until the start of 2008 when I got myself a set of New 15" RS5 Deep Dish alloys, which made a hell of a difference to the handling and steering on the car going round corners and they looked damn cool. This is where the car got named Big Foot by some of my neighbours who also have either the c1, 107, or Aygo as they look massive compared to the skinny wheels in which they come with.

Next I bought the Subs... It was 2 x 300w Subs in a box but it wasn't good enough so replaced the subs with 2 x 600w Subs and added some blue LEDS off another box and replaced with wiring. Ive painted the surround and put new covering over the box to match to the car.

Next was just a few minor modifications. Changed the interior light bulbs for brighter ones as the standard ones were so dim. The Toyota emblem was taken off the back and replaced with the devil Toyota sign. The front Toyota Badge was taken off and painted black. The front brake calipers were painted red; the front spoilers went on and the front and back lights were tinted with the flyeyeskit.

Unfortunately on one of my late night runs in the back and beyond I hit a fox (little thing) and the front left spoliler was left in pieces and the other one was slightly damaged so they needed to come off.

It attended the EK cruise like this.... after the number plate coming off on the motorway and having to make a 20 mile round journey just to go and get it back.

This this happened.... enough said.

It attended the Scottish Modified Show with Ayrshire Underground in 2010 and looked a bit like this:

Unfortunately some wee person when I wasn't with the car started peeling the front left tint off the headline causing it to peel and I had a hissy fit.

The side decals then went ... well the left side did in October last year then the right earlier last month to which its f****d and needs to come off and be redone.

And then some woman smashed into my car whilst reversing whilst it was parked outside the flat.

Currently waiting for the damage to be sorted by her insurance :) a_goodjob

Nice! Mine's the same reg as well (although Dec 06) but it's only done 29,000 17,500 of which were on it when I bought it in December 09. So hoping to keep it below average. Gets driven pretty much every day as well, commuting to uni etc. Mine's completely standard Black with air con, apart from under-the-skin modifications like dimming interior light, few bits and pieces like that. Often tempted to change the alloys for some multispokes in black or dark grey, but being a student there are more important things to worry about i.e petrol! :P

Hey Weevicky, got to say nice write up!

At last someone who contributes to the club minstead of coming on here asking questions about some fault thats been mentioned half a billion times on this site without them checking the site first and then %$(ing off. lol

Nice job on your car. I m now at the ripe age of 36. I ve done the lowered suspension, alloy wheels thing for my car. These sort of things attract the WRONG type of crowd to your car. My car is now bog standard but VERY clean. I guess I got sick of the vandalism/knocks/crashes and dings from other people.

The reason for a bog standard car? I "blend in" with the public, and the police dont notice you too!!

My car is now bog standard but VERY clean. I guess I got sick of the vandalism/knocks/crashes and dings from other people.

The reason for a bog standard car? I "blend in" with the public, and the police dont notice you too!!

Here here! I'm still young so I've done the alloys ect. but I am so sick of people keying my car, chucking paintballs at it, stealing one of my O.Z center caps (Yes just ONE! If you are going to the trouble at least make all the wheels the same!!) lol

perhaps it serves me right, or perhaps we should be able to do what we want to our cars without worrying about people vandalising them!

Definitely good to see some more contribution on here!

Lol. No offence to young ones. I believe a lot of how your car gets vandalised depends on where you live/park, or leave the car. I just got fed up with all the "bling" stuff. I actually promised myself not to do so many darn mods that could go wrong.

My Aygo has only one mod and thats fitting a LED light on the the heater knob. At night you cant see what setting your on. Well, ok. I ve actaully fitted LED front 501 lights and read plate lights. The money I saved goes on maintaining her.

None taken... infact I agree, to a degree. I've had mine vandalised while on the move on several occasions... that includes paintballs from other cars passing in the other direction. However that's a little more serious I could have had a really bad accident! What kind of no***d would let his kid chuck paintballs at cars?!

The other thing I notice is people taking pictures! that's a little more harmless though, depends what they do with them!
