Rough Engine Start

I experienced the rough clattery engine start, that some have mentioned on here and the Priuschat forums, yesterday.

I had moved the car off and on the drive (once each) with a low traction Battery (2 bars) and a cold engine the previous day.

So I reckon it did it because the engine had been started twice without going through the warm up procedure and the traction Battery was low. The clatter only lasted 3-4 seconds then cleared, the car has done 5.6K miles and is almost 12 months old.

I'm not at all concerned about it.

It's happened to me about 3 times in 45k miles. I'm not concerned.

Forgot to add, it ran perfectly smooth and quiet after the rattle stopped.

I'll just accept it as one of its characteristics, like the various beeps, dings, hums, whirrs and clicks that occur as it greets me in the morning. :)
