Toyota Touch Up Paint Kit

Just purchased a grey touch up paint kit from Mr T to cover a stone chip.

You are supposed to apply the base coat, then wait ten minutes before rubbing over it with the dampened sponge on the end of the paint container. However all that does is remove all the paint just applied. Tried leaving it for one hour, same result. Then two, paint still came off.

Is it me that is missing something or a common problem?

Don't push as hard, and rub around it and then gently over it, leave to dry, add another coat and rub the same, then clear coat. Its a pain at first but you'll get the hang of it ;)
