Heater Is Not Blowing Hot Air

Hi all.

My heating in the car has stopped blowing out hot air. All of the buttons on the climate control seem go Ben working. So I can set the temperature to high, But only cold air blows out . The Car engine appears go get upto temperature fine too. The pipes that go in and out of the heater matrix are hot too.

Well i'm presuming you've checked the coolant level? The heat in the pipes to the matrix may just be heat transfer up the pipes themselves as opposed to hot water in them. If you get an air lock in the coolant system the matrix is always the first place it gathers so try bleeding the pipes to it.

If that's ok then it's gotta be an actual ducting problem surely? i.e a flap not closing/opening in the dash to allow the air through the matrix/air to the matrix....
