i did this 2 months ago and it was a pig hang on i'll go and refresh my memory then let you know

right if i remember correctly there are 3 screws holding it on before you can pop the clips around the edge. 1st one behind the trim that sits around the door release handle...gently prise off from the front and work your way back till it pops off.

2nd one underneath the electric window switch again just lever the surround out from the top.

3rd one behind the blanking plate that has avensis written on it(opposite to fuel cap release on drivers side). get a torch and look up inside the last one as it doesnt look like there is a screw behind it but its angled up and not straight in front of you.

i forgot 1 disconnect the window switch from its wiring before you go any further.

Then starting in either bottom corner get something strong and flat and just prise the trim away and one of the clips retaining the door trim will pop(i used a flat head screwdriver but it could leave a mark your risk). once one has gone you should be able to pull the rest away by hand. lastly the top is held in just by a lip so just give the bottom of the trim a bang with your hand and it should release. you may need to pull the trim off the mirror to get it completely off,its just s push fit so dont worry...oh and dont forget you need to disconnect the light in the door before you pull the panel away.

refitting is opposite however the lip at the top can be a pig you just have to offer the panel up at a slight angle to the door then bang it down by hand to get the lip over the door edge.

think thats it....oh be prepared for some of the clips round the edge of the door to break however most should survive....

hope that helps!!!
