!995 Carina E GS 1600 manual Hatch

Who has suggestions on a replacement back exhaust for this model?

That is the part of the exhaust from the CAT rearwards.

Anyone had any good or bad experiences?

The options...

Genuine Toyota replacement, (Expensive).

Pattern standard replacement, (any good ones out there?).

Tuned replacement, (Any particular one that is good?).

Advice would be appreciated.

I'm a big fan of genuine Toyota exhausts. They seem to last forever!

I know the exhaust for the Carina E is a little pricey tho.

I fitted a BOSAL exhaust (standard swap - mid and end box) to my Carina II in December 2000 and it is unmarked more than 3 yrs on. It came with a 2yr warrant and was supplied by a Toyota Dealer.

very quiet - it is a quality exhaust

I've bought all 3. Toyota OE is £200 ish, Toyota copy (S/steel) from Toyota is £120 ish, TImax is £65 ish.

Go for the Toy copy (s/steel).
