Auris Aircon

I've just bought an Auris T2 (59 Reg). Can't work out how I'm meant to use the aircon! What does auto do? Just drove to Nottingham from Manchester with cold feet!!

Can anyone give me a dummies guide to using the aircon properly?

Set the temp you want ( i usually have 18 on a hot day) and press auto.

The climate control will gradually cool the car in the areas that need cooling down, so the car should remain a constant temp at all times.

Don't press mode or it will put the air where you have set it to, and not cool the car efficiently.

In addition to using the climate control on auto as above, you can also turn the air conditioning on or off by pressing the A/C button between Auto and Dual.
