Hey :)

I got a Toyota Rav 4 2003 2.0L D4 petrol 2 Days ago it was used and done only 80,000Km But these are the Issues i have... We used a Toyota Hiace 1994 Till now and its pretty old technology .. So I need to know what are the hidden Features that a New comer would miss on it and What i should do to protect it the best...

This is a Manual 2.OL, D4 Engine and what is better the VVTI or this ? And How many KM per Liter it will do on city normally ? And i got to know something to do with Turbo in this :!Removed!:

Thanks Please add some Info to let me know some stuff in it..

WElcome to the club.

This is generally a good vehicle but there are a couple of considerations.

You need to make sure that the oil is changed regularly with a good quality 5W30 grade oil. The timing belt is due for renewal now and you can find some info pinned in the maintenance section at the top of the page. You need to change the fuel filter regularly to avoid problems with the valves in the high pressure pump and the electronic injectors.

The flywheel is a 2 piece design that can give trouble. If it does then you might be better to change to a single piece design for your location depending on the duty cycle.

Make sure the air filter is clean and check the one for the cabin interior. Again you can find details pinned.

If you get any problems come back to us here.

hello

you should only follow the maintenance schedule, believe me.

and use good spares, but not scrap ones.

The car will be more economical.

Cheers
