Hi There

Could anybody help with the following,at least once or maybe twice a week my alarm will go off without any reason,i cannot find anything which is obvious,anybody got any ideas????..

No doubt you will know that alarms work on a voltage drop, have you noticed when it goes off if there is a heavy due or its been damp ? This in my opinion would indicate a poor earth plus have you had the Battery checked for a cell going down or in need of a new one.

If its an intermittent i would suggest having the Battery checked first, maybe someone else could offer a different reason to your problem.

My alarm went off due to the Battery being low, during the cold snap at the beginning of the year. The car could not start!

I had not used it for a few days either.

I topped up the cells with distilled water.

The car is fine since.

Just think of the alarm acting as a low Battery warning.

I agree with Pat2u to check other items.
