Hi everyone, I have had my A/C checked and the condenser is ****ed and there's no charge in the system. How difficult is it to remove the bumper and the condenser or can the condenser be removed without the bumper coming off. I have searched and found this... http://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=101465, are they similar ?

Thanks in anticipation.

Dave

What year car do you have?

Yes removal is same as mentioned in the link. Most japanese cars have same clips, and same method of removing the bumpers.

Yes definitely....search bumper removal on subaru (japanese car) on your tube, and you will know bit more and will feel more confident. Dont forget to go through that link thoroughly.

very easy open the bonnet and remove the plastic trim which is held on with poppers now you will see one more popper either side and three 10mm bolts remove these

now go to the front wheel arch pull the splash guard out the way and youll see an other 10mm bolt remove this and do the same on the other side and pull the bumper off its mounting on the sides

now under the car you will find approx eight 10mm bolts remove these and the bumper will pull off

itll take you approx 15 mins max to remove the bumper
