Rav4 Radio No Reception At All

Hi all,

I am new to this forum so please be patient lol.

My girlfirends Rav 4 has suddenly lost all ability to pick up any radio stations on any frequency AM, FM etc.

The aerial has been checked and its fine and I had a look at the fuses too with no success.

Does anyone have any ideas what it could be? it was working fine one day then it just stopped. The Rav4 is from 2004 if that helps and it has the combined SatNav radio.

Thanks in advance!

Lee

Welcome. If the antanna is of the two section telescopic piller type... make sure the bottom section is 'clunked' into place/fully extended, else you won't get a good electrical signal to the cable/radio socket. If you want to shorten the antenna... push the top section in a bit. The lower section is the important bit signal wise.

Is it a B9001 unit 7" touchscreen display?

Hi, Yes it is! Have you seen this problem before?

It is driving me crazy lol.

Sorry for the lateness of my reply I have been on holiday.

No I was just asking ;-)

You sure you havnt got traffic announcement. Or any other button enabled that would kill the radio like mute.
