2.2 Auto Box - Good Idea Or Not?

Howdie.

Whats your thoughts on the 2.2 Auto?

I have a 55 plate 2.2manual estate and like it but fancy the newer version and have kept an eye on the auto box.

Possibly a bit higher fuel consumption but then again some of the boxes now days are giving better mpg (see BMW)

so I might save or at least equal what I get now (41-43 mixed locally here in the hilly Borders).

I see one 180bhp advertised within Toyota, surely this is a mistake, was this more powerful engine not dropped?

I dont know about the auto boxes. But the T-180 D-CAT was dropped by Toyota for the 150 D-CAT. But I think that Lexus still have the T-180 in there 220d.
