Factory Glass - How Dark?

Ok, so not specifically a Prius question but does anyone know how dark factory tinted windows are? I'm going to get tints on my Prius and was thinking of 5% but that's seriously dark from the B pillars back. Maybe the factory fitted tinted glass may be more user friendly.

When I enquired with my dealer the factory tinted glass is a film anyway !!

There are legally prescribed darknesses of tints for the UK ... will try and dig them out tomorrow unless someone has them to hand

Wife's Fiesta has factory tints but it's coloured glass and deffo not a film. I'd be very unhappy if I ordered factory tints on my Prius and I got film applied.

I'm only getting the rears done (from the B pillar back) so you can have whatever you want. Rather than going for limo 5% tints I'll be going for a slightly less black 20%. I thought the fronts (deffo not windscreen) was around 70%.

I had mine done at a Toyota dealers. They gave me a choice of grades from 5% upwards and showed me various examples. I ended up going for 15% and I'm really happy with it.

Dark enough so you can't see in, but not dark enough to make the interior too gloomy.

i did my dads avensis tourer rear windows with the 20% and it was near identical shade to my old avensis tourer that had factory tinted glass
