Does anyone out there know how to get my SR any lower than it is. I currently have KYB Shocks and APEX springs(35mm). As i can't afford gas shocks i'm about to uprate the shocks to KONI top adjustables. Does anybody which springs i can use to get my baby at her lowest. Cheers everyone. TOBY p.s will get pics asap

I think you should consider the ones that Geo has, as his SR looks pretty neat.

Can't wait to see you pics? By the way Toby what exhaust have you got on ur car? Is it a blitz one?

yeah his car looks really good low. Im not quite sure what spring's he using or if there still made?? GEO69 said they were JAMEX which are now GMAX. i looked on the website and all they do are 40mm. i currently have APEX which are 35mm but surely it cant make that much of a difference. As soon as i find out what springs he has then i will buy them!!!!!!!!!!!

GEO69 did you get your engine of toyotasera.co.uk and is it the paseo one or the sera. also you couldn't find out exactly what

springs you have then i can go out and get them!!!!!!!!! The ride height really annoys me?

Geo69 hasn't got his engine yet - a 5e-fhe from a Sera

Toby could i sugest that if u want to go low and have good ride quality u should fit a set of coil overs. my mate has them on his SR. sorry but i dont know the name of them or where he got them from. but they can be got i think for about £650.

ainsmal..r u still selling two rear gaz shoks for £150

If you want to go very low without the use of coilovers then the Koni shox are the best option as the spring platforms are lower then the standard shox before you start thats why the starlets on Koni's sit so low at the rear.

But when going really low an adjustable panhard rod should be used as you are altering the suspension geometry and the starlet will sit lower one side that the other!!

i am but i have a set of rear coilovers second hand that i had on the back of my mota which i had made 30 mil lower to start with and thats without all the adjustment on the spring seat.

they have only done 300 mile but i am keeping the springs so you will have to tell me what spring rate you want so i can have some made in 1.9 ID.

starletsr is interested in them.

but i can still do you new ones for £150.

cheers
