rear lights from the jdm carrat models ie the ones with the two big lights look amazing. I think one of the downfalls of the starlet

is the rear lights. Where can you get these JDM CARRAT ones, they look sooo good and transfor the rear of the car!!!! tobs

I may not be 100% correct, but I think you need the Carat rear bumper to fit those lamps.

That's strange, thought the light was a separate thing to the bumper?

I believe the Carat lights protude into the bumper. The Carat rear bumper is a different shape to compensate.

the carat lights are slightly longer than the oe spec lights but u can fit them by slightly modifing your rear bumper..

you can obtain these lights from toyota but u will need the part numbers..

right now im creating a resorce site for the starlet so will have part numbers soon.

After talking to d at bodykits.co.nz the carrat lights do need the bumper modding like you said geo and Andrew. D has made some light covers for the standard lights which can be painted body colour and look either like the 98> Glanza lights or the Carat one i can't remember which.

I was replying to someone asking if I'd sell a set. Yes, I will and yes I do. If people ask nicely I will also look details up for them as long as they don't take the p*** by submitting a long list of requests and expecting a full reply within an hour.

With the CD's you're getting all the part numbers and exploded parts drawings for all JDM Toyotas from about 1970 - 2000 You're paying a little for postage, a jiffy bag and my time for copying 5 cds - when I could be doing something far more interesting. Bring a laptop round mine, you can copy them for free, you bring the beer, I'll provide the popcorn.

I will look up the part numbers when I get time. The CD's are installed on my pc at home, but I'm out late each night until Sunday doing lighting for a touring theatre company performing Iolanthe and whilst I may switch on the PC late in the evenings until Sunday to do a bit of mindless surfing, I don't want to start looking up part numbers. Can you wait?

If its any consolation I don't agree with paying for the forum. Scoobynet manages to be free for most users, although some areas are subscription only. However this is not the place to discuss that. I appreciate this site has running costs and those costs have to be met either by advertising or subscription or by a generous sponsor.
