hi mate!

well the style is your own choice and 17s will actaully fit without lowering with minimalk fuss but will look like a 4x4

lowering a bit may limit you to 195 16'' wheels but a few arch mods and you should be fine

Personally i would go 4 some OZ alloys cos they are a reputable brand and there alloys are very lightweight i've been told! U will have problems with 17's and possibly even problems with 16's, more 2 do with the width than anythin i think!

Cheers

it all depends on what you want. looks or handling/grip

this is my opinion based on teri's tsport -30mm, with arches rolled and 2 sport srping adjusters in each spring.

215x40x16's with decent tyres will produce better grip for straight line, so shold be able to put more power down at launch.

however, as 17's have less tyre roll, they will handle better for cornering, and also look nicer, but less grip for launch as you just cant have the width (ooh err).

I went for 15"s but they're 7js instead of 5.5... so quite a bit wider. I'm hoping they'll look pretty good when I've ditched the TTE springs and slammed her on some Konis...

lower it, lower it, lower it... i love black alloys btw - nice buy, and a bargain i hear!

btw, i thought the TTE springs lowered car by 30mm... that car doesnt look lowered. You don't mean you wanna ditch the T-Sport standard springs (i guess they are made by TTE also...)??

Well, it's the "SR" model, which came with TTE everything... the springs are TTE, but they're a real compromise between ground-clearance and looks...

teri had a sr before the tsport. it was certainly not any noticable difference in ride height. I thought the tsport & sr were the same hieght, which was as u said 20mm different to the other yaris's.

if you fit the ttw -30m spring to a tsport which she has also, thats 30mm or so lower than the sr, which is why it don't look lowered.

her first gls was w reg, her sr was a 51 reg.
