Driver's Door Panel Removal

Could anyone offer any advice please? I need to remove the door panel on the driver's door of my Toyota Avensis 207 T Spirit.

I just need to know if there are any do's and don'ts relevant to this. When I shut the door, there is a thud within the door as it shuts - obviously something has worked loose, but everything is working perfectly OK (any ideas?).

The car still has 12 month's warranty from JCT600 Mazda Leeds, but they want to charge me £35 as a diagnostics charge just to have a look!!

This goes slightly against the grain when it is still covered under warranty! And yes, I am from Yorkshire!!! LOL!

Any help would be much appreciated.
