Rear Bumper Painting

Hi Peeps,

Need advice from those in the ken about body parts / painting thereof. Thanks to usual Kingo great service, I yesterday received the big corner piece of wife's 3 door Rav rear bumper, naturally unpainted.(Reversing accident as posted....)

Should this be painted prior to fitting to the car, or should it be on the car in order for the chosen bodyshop to endeavour to match any shading difference that has ocurred in its 7 young years....?

Also too and furramore, can anybody recommend a decent paintshop in the East / North East area of Glasgowshire who might do this job....?

Seem to remember Bothy suggesting a place in Lanarkshire where "Deliverance" was filmed, but lost that email....

Big Kev

If you phone the guys at the garage in Motherwell, they will remember the paint shop which I think is in Cleland where the chap does paint wizardry. He painted the Previa for me and did a very good job.

Becky will know at the garage. They use him frequently on some of their custom builds etc and I've seen his work on a damaged bumpe - superb.

as for Ken - its not who it is but what it is !
