hi there, i'm a new member, hoping someone can give me some advice or shed some light on the subject

Basically i have just imported a 2008 corolla from ireland into UK, however the speedo is in KPH only, as i will be changing the insurance and plates to UK ones i need to get a certificate of conformity that it is suitable to drive on UK roads, i think i will have some trouble getting this if my car reads KPH only

can anyone advise if i need to change my whole speedometer, if i can get something to clip over the fascia of the dial or what.......

i have never imported a car before so am totally clueless.......but i dont really want to be forking out a huge amount of dosh to change speedo

i would be grateful for any help

thanks

nol

You will need a new speedo! Had same problem with Yaris brought back from Spain. Would have needed to change lights as well although you won't need to do that. Gave up in the end and part-exed car for, sorry, a Fiesta now gone and have a nice new Yaris again. Regards.
