is the crankshaft pulley on an mr2 sw2 right or left hand thread?

I'm not familiar with the model but if it is transversely mounted with the pulleys to the driver side then the engine turns clockwise and the crank pulley has a RH thread. The only exception that I know of is some Honda engines that have the pulleys at the passenger side and they turn anti-clockwise and a LH thread on the crank pulley. This honda arrangement makes more sense as it does away with the need for an idler gear in the transmission - these are made for transverse installation rather than adapted to it.

They are done like this as if they were to work loose, inertia would tend to stop them self unwinding.
