Morning Sir. In my experience the pump is to be replaced.

It must be many years ago when water pumps could be repaired.

Even the pump on one of my ancient 1994 RAVs had to be replaced.... good news is that alloy and aluminium and steel are all worth more as scrap metal !!

I had mine done 3 years ago. £91.05 for the pump , £47.65 for the belt , £27.12 for coolant! and £112.47 for fitting. Don't know how much Mr T charges in the Ukraine. Interestingly mine had done 36k miles which is 60k kms.

Hi

MrT has charged usd 200 (all in) -- i caught their discount program today with 15% discount for spare and 10% discount for labour. Ok new pump was installed. I ve seen the pump has a mechanical seal that seemed to be leaky. As visible the pump lifetime is around 60k. Now i am inclined to try to repair this pump having changed the graphite gland -- nothing to lose. Will report how i will get on. It is worth to try. Cheers/Igor
