Hello From Holland

Hi folks!

I'm Chris, 35 and living in Zwolle, The Neterlands. Since two weeks I'm the proud owner of a 1992 Toyota Crown Majesta with a 3.0 2jz-ge engine. The car belonged to a Russian lawyer, who lives in Holland and is moving back to Russia again.

The Crown was imported in 2007 from Japan via Germany to Holland (cheaper I guess). It only has driven about 137.000 km @ the moment. The main condition is quite good for his age. Some minor details like a failing HUD, a not working radio (....), some lacquer damage and the driver's seat has had his best time :).

Nevertheless, I'm quite happy with the Crown. It runs very smooth without any sounds, which worries me.

As I have heard, the are more Crown owners in England than in Holland. Are there some people here, who also own a Majesta? I know verry little about this car, rather than it was introduced in 1991 to compete with Mercedes, BMW and Audi. I also have a question about the service manual for this car (needed to check the radio, which doesn't work). I can't find one.

Any information about this car - especially the service manual - is welcome :).

nice, a very smooth drive i'd say great power is it a auto.. radio only works or tunes in to stations in japan u have to fit a new radio.. engine is very very reliable, loads of power on tap...
