Celica gearbox

Hi, Is there anyone out there who can answer my question???

I have a celica SS-II 2 ltr 16v.. When the vehicle is off the floor on stands should the front wheels spin freely when not in gear or should you get some resistance?

Ive been told you will get some resistance because the box is a semi-slip diff and not a fully slip dif??

You could well have a LSD on your celica, this is how to check...

With both wheels off the ground and out of gear ;), spin one wheel buy hand, if it has LSD the other wheel will go in the same direction, if its a standard diff the other wheel will spin in the opposite direction :D.
