Regardless of what you think of the man and his Man Utd team - you have to give tremendous credit to Alex Ferguson and

the team for what they have achieved. 10 out of 10 for achievement and high performance.

A shame a certain Irish journalist had to show disrespect to Alex by banging on about "how Alex would not have won as many titles as a certain K Delglish had Dalglish stayed at Liverpool" in his article in a Sunday paper . But hey ho - thats journalists for you,

I hugely respect Alex Ferguson - no the guy is not perfect - but who is - i am not perfect, David Camerons not perfect - no one is. But he sets us a great example for what can be achieved both in life and in sport by setting a high standard and having lots of ambition and pure ability.

A great achiever - and as for Giggs - still a great servant for Man Utd at 37 years of age, awesome stuff.

Well done Alex Ferguson and Man Utd - hope you win at Wembly in the final of the Champions league - and really put the icing on an already fabulous Cake

I'm a football fan and have no team to call my own, Sir Alex and Man U are an inspiration, to have gone on for so long and prove he is capable of producing the best from his team is remarkable

That said, Barca showed a masterclass in how football should be played, they were the top team on the night and showed the world that they are probably the best club side, the way they kept possession of the ball was amazing, well done for a good season Man U but well done Barca for showing us all how beautiful the game of football can be
