Started riding in 1980 on a Suzuki AP50, graduated to a Yamaha DT175 and then RD250.

Over the years i've ridden all sorts - Honda VT500, CB-1 (400/4), 250 Superdream, Yamaha RD350LC, Aprilia RS250 (I love my 2 strokes), Ducati 851, Ducati Monster, Suzuki GSXR750 and loads of Triumphs - Bonneville, Speed Triple, Thunderbird and Rocket Roadster.

As my back is getting a bit creaky I found the Speed Triple was becoming as comfortable as an upside down crucifiction and 18 months ago I sold the bike I said i'd never sell and bought a bike a said i'd never buy and got me a Harley Davidson Superglide Custom! How times change.

And it's a hell of a lot of fun. It's like a VERY fast armchair.

I still miss having a small, light bike though and do enjoy the occassional track day so come winter time when the prices should be lower i'll be on the lookout for a Honda CBR 400 RR NC 29 (baby blade) to join the Harley in the garage. The NC29 is currently cheap as chips and could be a future classic.... And it's a lotta fun to ride.
