Not only do they have a Camry hybrid, but I believe an Avensis (Avalon) and the Prius, not sure whether the Auris hsd has got there yet...

The Canadian Toyota site reveals all!!

We got the camry here too in Thailand, a nice car with aircon in the seats and all that stuff.

Basically it's a normal car fitted with the hsd system, and according to the vise president of Toyota Thailand it might still have problems since it is not a pure hybrid as the Prius and is also new (2 years) on the marked.

But for the break problem, I have not heard about here, honestly I have not heard about any problems with the hybrid camry at all, for Thailand that is, but might be an American running the 2.4 or 3.5 liter engine to the max and the drag the brakes to recharge the Battery? ;)
