I had a letter this morning from the Lexus dealer from whom I have bought new cars in the past. It quotes the earthquake and tsunami and says that production is returning to normal, but advises early ordering if I want a car for the new September registration.

It sounds to me like a marketing manager making the best of his opportunities . . . . .

Well to be hones that is still the situation, we have just done something similar, just because they are building does not mean the full range of colours / specs will be available. The situation will still be rocky for a while longer yet
