Anyone had any joy with solving or reducing the smearing left on the windscreen on the backstroke of the wiperblades. What blades do most of you guys and gals use.Standard Toyota blades or flat blades or any other type for that matter?.

Cheers Steve.

I've use Rain-X in the past and its good stuff. But I've found something better (Imo) than that called "Aquapel" from our American cousins. You can buy this off Fleabay to. If your a member of Costco you could buy it from there. They were selling loads off at the Cardiff branch for £4.99 +Vat for the 4 application pack! Amazing deal as they were selling them for over £25 befor that. They may all be sold out around the Costco group. But worth a look see

I use the Valeo flat wipers which are fine, but have this problem if you use JUST water, and no washer fluid

Funnily enough they aren't. They leave a line about 1mm across your plain of vision, and when they come back down they drag water off the edge of the windscreen into the middle about the size of a £5 note :)

Hi!

I use Bosch Aerotwin flat ones. Absolutely perfect, even in the heaviest rain.
