Hello people,

i am new to this site, i want to know if anybody has bought a estima imported from japan as i am thinking about buying one in the next 6 months.

If anyone has had problems or can give me any advice about buying one i would be really grateful

i should of said i work for toyota building engines but want to know any issues regarding the estima i e parts, insurance, faults. i have 3 growing kids and need a people carrier and i only want the best!!!!!

The main thing seems to be the diesel engine over-heating and bending its head. But then that shouldn't pose any problems for you !

thinking of getting a 2.4 petrol

Again - just check that the head hasn't warped - normally a good engine but can overheat when things aren't looked after - the radiator up front seems to lose its fins as normal. And I found it can be a little awkward if theres an air lock in the system.
