High all. New to this forum.

Own a 81 Hiace with devon conversion,

91 celica gt and 88 corolla gt

No forum specialy for the hiace, oh well.

Looking forward to the summer with camper. Far better in my opinion than the volkswagons (more reliable) but a bit hairy considering I have only drum brakes on the front.

Just a quickie, been meaning to change the coolant on the 12r engine and will always replace with what colour is in there allready. Only problem is that i cant tell what colour it is. Its just a rusty colour. i have always used the 4life toyo red in them all, but this 81 is tad older. Manual just says Ethylene glycol coolant whic h is far from helpful.

Any ideas? 12r engine toyo red/green coolant?

regards Christopher

Hello, I am also a new one here. this forum looks good but I am not having good experience of people's posts. I am searching for some used Toyota cars posts and discussion about Toyota cars and their market all over the world. I sometimes interested in reading and sharing some news about cars market.

Hello

I am also newbie, been searching for posts reference either the Toyota 12R Engine or the Hiace camper.

I just bought one, bit of a wreck, I want to "do it up" but parts for it are proving to be a bit hard to find!

As you can see from the pic below, a bit of a "Wreck" however, the door is off, and I have almost fixed it, and the front bit where it is anchored to the chassis I started tonight.

My question to you is, how does yours run?

Are they any good?

Thanks

Geoff
