Car is booked in tomorrow and was going to take a copy of the TSB regarding the EGR valve issue. I'm sure it was posted on the forum but i cannot find it for the life of me..

Thank guys. Car is in. The boy I spoke to knew of the issue and was going to investigate it.

All is well with KevRav.

Injectors are the new type. The wee leaky area could have been crap from previous fills. There was a part turn possible with a spanner so it might have been that.

They stripped and cleaned the EGR valve which only had a small ("normal") amount of carbon build up. Not enough to cause concern.

All other service points were ok which is good. Got air con serviced as it was very smelly. That's worked a treat and blasting fresh chankin air at me now!!!

The car is noticeably more responsive which I can only put down to the EGR valve clean as a 50k mile service really is only an oil and filter change.
