Hi I have a '10 Verso and I wonder if anybody has used a Halfords rear bike rack successfully on their Verso.

On my Honda FRV I mounted the rack quite high over the curved window just fine, but on the Verso getting the right placement seems difficult.

My current thoughts are the bottom pads to rest on the impression just below the numberplate (I figure I want to avoid resting on the plastic bumper!?) but that puts the top pads in the middle of the rear window. I need to carry 3 bikes a fair distance. Given I don't yet have a towbar I'm trying to avoid the need for a lighting board also.

The rack is a few years old and is the low mount type, i.e. only a single point of flexibility.

I'm going on a ferry to Holland, so using roof racks for the bikes isn't an option either

No, Halfords aren't that helpful

thanks

Tim
